History

The Trojan horse in Homers’ story keeps a deadly surprise inside his body. It is well known that women from Homers’ story (Penelope, Helen, Andromache, Klitajmnestra….) play crucial roles and put a final mark on the life of the man heroes (Ulysses, Agamemnon, Paris, Hector…) and that some interpretations of the famous Greek sculpture “The Delphi Charioteer”, beside the invisible horses and slight contra post  of the figure, do stress the power of will and mind which lead the chariot with the instinctive animals.

Project:
The Trojan

Present

The Trojan is “sewed” from tiny, shining tin strips. It is very slim, and it certainly cannot accept a human “guest” inside its body. The Trojan statue has a pink saddle and blue bridle on its surface, both made from white sheet. The statue has local lighting and gives the impression of the coming at the barn at night, when the thought of riding a horse is far, and one just wonder the beauty of the animal.

Exhibition

The Trojan odyseey across the city during the day (presented as slideshow) is contrasted with the nightly creature (sculpture Trojan) - still and illuminated around the colored saddle and bridle.
